Welcome from the Head Teacher

It is my pleasure to welcome you to North Bridge Enterprise College. The college opened in 2013 for pupils who have been or are at risk of permanent exclusion due to their challenging behaviours, and for those pupils who require more specialised interventions than can be provided in a mainstream college.

The school provides a safe learning environment, re-engaging them in their education with a focus on preparation for post 16.

Aims

'Providing a pathway to engage, educate and empower' Northbridge enterprise college a registered independent education provision for students who have been or are at risk of permanent Exclusion due to their challenging behaviours, the school provides a safe learning environment, re-engaging them in their education with a focus on preparation for post 16.

We strive to provide an excellent education whilst supporting our pupils as they re-engage in their education, empowering them to develop their self-esteem and identity so they can reach their full potential. We aim to provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment to offer the learners the best possible education and opportunities and to prepare them for post 16.

What sets us apart from other schools

North Bridge provides a personalised learning environment. All staff ensure we offer a warm, friendly, inviting school that offers a broad curriculum. We have high expectations for our pupils academically and aim to provide a curriculum that both inspires and challenges them.

Pupils

We cater for pupils aged 14-16 years, both male and female.

Our pupils are at risk of/have been permanently excluded from a mainstream school; this can be for a number of reasons but primarily due to challenging behaviour.

Areas of expertise

We have a fully qualified and extremely well experienced staff team, who offer a broad range of subject specialisms and training.

Our vocational areas include Food Technology, Media and Uniformed services - we are continually growing and developing the curriculum for the interests and needs of the pupils.
